Hi! My name is Amelia. I am a 23-year-old alumni from Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts with a BA in Marketing and minors in Graphic Design and Management. I'm originally from Marshfield, Massachusetts, which is about 30 miles south of Boston along the coast.
I've been interested in digital creation since early middle school. I began to teach myself different programs within the Adobe Suite until I started taking classes to supplement my learning in high school and college. I hope to delve into a marketing career where I can use the skills I've learned and apply them to a professional working environment.
After graduating college, I began to put all my learned skills to use as a freelancer doing graphic design and social media for different companies. So far, I've been working with a hand sanitizer company called ALŌH and a Fortune 500 financial tech company called FIS.
ALŌH is a small company made up of less than 10 employees based in Long Island, NY, selling variations of hand sanitizers and sanitizing wipes. When I came on board, their social media pages were lackluster, only driving in a handful of likes per post and barely gaining any interaction. Since then, we have overhauled ALŌH's social media approach, moving away from the same old product photos to eye-catching, aesthetically pleasing, culturally relevant, funny, and relatable posts and videos. We've utilized paid media campaigns, influencers, giveaway contests, and much more to gain over 1,500 followers on Instagram in 6 months and increase our overall reach by over 40%.
FIS is at the exact opposite of the spectrum than ALŌH as a B2B company with over 20,000 clients. They're responsible for moving over $9 trillion across 75 billion transactions annually. Before starting with FIS, their creative marketing team couldn't dedicate the time needed on social media. Press releases and relevant, timely content would come late because there was no one there to create the media needed. I've worked closely with the FIS social media team to design banners and animations closely aligned with their brand guidelines to ensure posts and communications are delivered on time and up to the standards of their wide audience reach. FIS has over 800,000 followers on LinkedIn, 25,000 gained since April of 2025.
On campus, I was the Creative Strategist for the Emmanuel College Programming Team (ECPT) from 2022-2024. ECPT is one of the largest student-run organizations in the college and they host general events for campus involvement such as bingo or trivia and unique large-scale traditional events like Kids Night and Moonlight Breakfast. My responsibility was to create branding for our club, from promotional flyers, to social media posts, to t-shirts, to any other design pieces we may need. I also collaborated with our board members to plan and execute 10+ events every semester.
As Marketing & Studio Operations Intern for FableVision Studios, I created engaging social media content and marketing materials across multiple platforms, driving increased user engagement and online brand awareness. I contributed to organizing studio events, such as open houses and staff gatherings, fostering team morale and strengthening client relationships. Additionally, I provided support to production, sales, and marketing teams by handling various tasks and projects, improving overall company operations and performance.
As the co-founder and president of The Swift Society at Emmanuel College, I oversaw our club's executive board and collaborated with our members to ensure that deadlines are met, questions are answered, and everything is fit into place. Since my freshman year, I took notice of the amount of Taylor Swift fans on campus and being a fan myself, I decided to create a club centered around her artistry. Our primary focus is to bring our peers together with a common interest by hosting fun events while also discussing themes of feminism and other social issues.
